At 1000 Degrees Neapolitan Pizza, we hold our customers’ dining experience to a very high standard. That’s why we’re so proud to have recently been featured in CNBC’s article, “How millennials are building the next iconic pizza chain.”

woman-eating-pizza-620920541Pizza culture is evolving, according to CNBC, and the changes can be attributed in part to what millennials – meaning people born between 1980 and 2000 – want out of restaurants. “This younger generation not only look for healthier options but also consider the experience as significant as the food itself,” the article explains.

For 1000 Degrees founder and CEO Brian Petruzzi, providing the right experience is all about giving guests control and transparency. “Customers want a lot more input into what they’re getting,” he said. “They want to see that the ingredients are fresh, and they want to be able to customize and make stuff their own.” Petruzzi explains that the fresh-casual atmosphere at 1000 Degrees is kicking pizza culture up another notch by combining fast-casual with fresh ingredients. The result is a fine-casual setting our customers love.

In fact, a memorable experience combined with top-notch ingredients is what 1000 Degrees is all about. The proof is in the pizza, and it starts with amazing hand-tossed dough. Our authentic Neapolitan recipe dates back more than 100 years in Naples, Italy. Made with imported flour, the dough is mixed using an authentic fork-style mixer. The result is an unforgettably crispy and airy crust.

After that, what goes on our pizza crust is entirely up to our guests. Customers can choose from more than 50 fresh, high-quality toppings that range “… from the traditional tomatoes, mozzarella, pepperoni and garlic to thinly sliced rib eye, grilled chicken, pineapple, jalapeno, banana peppers, bleu cheese, a smoky bourbon barbeque sauce and more.” Our artisan-made cheeses and imported meats are a throwback to the Italian authenticity we’re so proud of.

Since the initial 1000 Degrees launch in 2014, we already have 25 franchises running “… in New Jersey, Michigan, Arizona, Texas, North Dakota, Florida and Connecticut — along with two locations in Malaysia.” By the end of this year, customers can expect to see at least another 30 locations open in the United States. “As far as signed agreements, we have well over 100. In Florida alone, we have 45,” he told CNBC.

Our 1,000-degree Neapolitan oven may have our pizzas ready in two minutes, but we don’t want our customers to leave. “We’re fast to get you your food, but we bring the food to your seat so you can sit back and relax,” Petruzzi said. “We focus on the dine-in experience.” Our self-serve beer and wine is just another reason to hang around and enjoy.

As the pizza market continues to grow and evolve, we at 1000 Degrees will continue to bring big flavor and a memorable experience to our customers.
